Power Poker Offering Online Forum Challenge
October 22, 2009
Power Poker recently announced they will be holding a series of tournaments called the Online Forum Challenge. This Challenge will take place over three months and will culminate with players going head to head with Power Poker Pro Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies.
Every month for the next three months a set of Online Forum Challenges will take place at Power Poker. The events will consist of one big free roll and one buy-in with cash and prizes added. Prizes will also be given out to the forums that perform the best.
At the end of the three month time frame all players that participated in all three buy-in tournaments will be eligible to play Sahamies in the Heads Up Bonus Free roll. Added to the general prize pool is a bounty on Sahamies. The winner of the Free roll will meet up with Sahamies and play heads up live for $1,000.
The first set of Online Forum Challenges will take place this Saturday with a $2,000 free roll. A $5 buy-in with $2,000 in cash and prizes added will take place on the 25th. Both tournaments will begin at 3pm eastern. Jason “Wolf” Rosenberg the President of Global Gaming Events, who owns and operates the Online Forum Challenge, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Ziigmund and the entire Power Poker Team. Our events have awarded players with over half a million dollars in added prize money in the last few years, but this is probably the coolest prize so far.”
